How can i listen to a beat while i record new vocals?

How can i listen to a beat while i record new vocals?

I already have an existing beat but what i am trying to do is record my vocals while listening to the beat like in my older version of audacity before i upgraded. Basically my music won't playback while im recording a new track. Any help is appreciated :)

Enable "Overdub" (bottom of the Transport menu)
