No stereo

I get only one channel showing on the Audacity meter instead of stereo. My mike feeds an M-Audio and its output (USB) goes to the computer. Thoughts?

Edit --> Preferences --> Audio I/O
There you should be able to choose your recording device and the number of channels. Also remember that you need to turn on and connect the M-Audio before you start Audacity, or it won't be detected.
