MXL STEREO USB 007 mic does not record in Stereo

I have an MXL 007 USB Stereo mic that does not record in stereo on Windows 7 Audacity. It does record in stereo on GarageBand on my Mac. Anyone know the reason why? Thanks.

Edit menu > Preferences > Devices
Set the number of channels to "2 (stereo)"

I have set the input to Stereo - 2 Channels. Audacity on PC will still not recognize that this is a stereo mic. Audacity records two channels from this mic, but the two channels are identical... no stereo. Audacity for Mac recognizes the mic as a stereo mic and records in stereo. Still waiting for a possible answer to this situation. Thanks. Marjoe.

Do you have it set to stereo in the Windows Control Panel (Sound)?
