Fixed choppy/distorted recording on Asus laptop

Just wanted to post this in case anyone else had the same problem.
I had been trying to record, but playback was choppy. Finally figured out the problem.
Go to your computers Control Panel
select Hardware and Sound
select SmartAudio
select Voice Effects
turn off Microphone Noise Reduction
Now I can record perfectly fine. Wooo!
