Hi everyone,
I'm having a simple issue and I hope there is a way to automate the work. I have 72 audio files that make an entire dialogue, and I want to put them together in only 1 file.
When I open them with Audacity, it gives me 72 tracks that are all starting at 0 seconds. I want to be able to order them one after the other, that is: the end of track 1 is the beginning of track 2, the end of track 2 is the beginning of track 3, etc.
I know how to do that manually... Now I'd like to tell Audacity to do this automatically to all tracks, the 1st track in the list being the 1st in time (opening the audio), and the last track in the list being the last in time (closing the audio).
Please let me know if there is anything to help me!
Olivier
Automatically order tracks one after the other?

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Automatically order tracks one after the other?
AFAIK you can't do that automatically - I seem to remnber that there is a Feature Request for an "Import Append" which will do what you want.
If I can re-find that FR would you like me to add your vote for it?
