Windows7 64 bit "High Definition Audio Device"

I'm using a machine with Windows 7 64 bit and the installed Audio device is Microsoft's "High Definition Audio Device". I've installed Audacity 1.3.12 and am trying to record an audio stream from the BBC website. I can hear it through headphones, but can't find a recording device setting so that Audacity can intercept the signal. The only recording devices in the Control Panel Sound dialogue are Microphone (not plugged in) and Line In (not plugged in). I've right clicked in this box and checked "show disabled devices" and basically there aren't any.
I'd be very grateful if anyone could advise if there's a way of configuring this sound card so that Audacity can record.
Many thanks
