I'm having trouble adding a new track to start at the end of the previous track. Can anyone offer some help?
Many thanks.

For live recording, you can either Pause-Record and then Pause again to start the second song, or play a song, Stop, and Shift-Record. This is "Append Record," and will start a new recording at the cursor location.
For mixed files, you can open one and import the other. Select the second one and Time Shift (two sideways black arrows) the second one. Then render and Export a new sound file. You don't need to render because the Export step will mix down for you.

Thanks, Koz but is there a way to add a new track at the end of the previous track? In other words add a track where the previous track ens without using the time shift.

Click in the track you want to add the recording to and click on Transport > Append Record.

Thanks but that didn't seem to work. There's audio in track 1. I move the cursor to the end of that track and want to add another track yet when I Import new audio the 2nd track doesn't start there. Am I missing something simple?

Imported files are always added to a new track.
