Audacity vs Asio4All (buffer size)

Post by tico-tico » Mon Jan 31, 2011 12:21 pm

Hello, everyone.

I have simple question. How can i change buffer size for listening/recording when i'm using Asio4all drivers?
Every time i run Audacity, buffer length automatically set to 2048 samples. It is too big for me.
And i can't change this setting using Asio4all control panel.

I'm using self-compiled svn rev 10893 (DS+ASIO support) on Windows 7.

Thanks in advance.

ps sorry for bad english

With my Edirol UA-1EX and on my Windows-XP-HE-SP3 PC (so "your mileage may vary ...") I can go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and my Edirol device driver shows up in the list. Clicking on it brings up a dialog box which facilitates adjustment of the ASIO Audio Buffer Size.
