Reducing Volume - Mass Files

Post by Paft » Tue Jan 25, 2011 7:58 pm

I have hundreds of wav files that I'd like to reduced the volume of.

I know this far

-Drag & Drop files into Audacity
-Click the area on the left of the file under the x.
-Files>Select All

Now what? Surley I don't have to move that "gain" slider for each file?

Use the "Amplify" effect and set the amplification amount to a negative amount to reduce the volume.
