Echo, Windows 7, 1.3 beta
Recording from Ion Tape to PC player I get an echo through the speakers as if the stereo tracks are recording slightly appart and not in Sync. I'm using Windows 7 and 1.3 Beta. Help please with Synchronizing.
Re: Echo, Windows 7, 1.3 beta
Do you mean that in the recording the left and right channels are out of sync with each other?

I'm not sure if sync is the answer, but when recording a stereo song the last word gets repeated like an echoe.for example if the song sentance was "Are you ready for this" it will repeat the last word so it would sound "Are you ready for this this"and so on,sounding echoie throughout.steve wrote:Do you mean that in the recording the left and right channels are out of sync with each other?

I presume that is a USB cassette player?<em>Devon John</em> wrote:Recording from Ion Tape to PC player
How is it connected to your computer?

Re: Echo, Windows 7, 1.3 beta
It is a Ion Tape2Pc cassette recorder and is connected by USB2. When I first set it up it was fine sounding the same recording as on playback, but later after trying different effects i think I've altered something on the recording side. I've traced and retraced what I did from setup but can't find anything. I completed the recording and have saved it as a wave file they play back ok. So I think I can put up with the echoe sound on recording.

"Edit menu > Preferences > Devices".
Check that the "Recording" device is set to the USB option.
