Audacity Forum

So i just wanna record sound that comes from the speakers. I have W7 and this beta version and latest lame whatever, but cant get to "stereo mix" or any of those options! The box is grey and i can see no stereo mix from windows sound options, even tough i did like they told me. When i try to record it says: "Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate."

I would appreciate help.

It just keeps saying that same, no matter what i try. Didnt find any help from there.
