Urgent problem whit import. :]

Hello,
I've created a file on audacity. I've enregistred and program have warned me that I save file in format/size which can be open only in Adacity. Now I need to import this to another file to work whit that, and it do nothing, I press "import" > "Audio" > chose file and "open" nad nothing change.
