Single MP3 recording with Tracks?

I mix music and by mix I mean with a DJ mixer and records, CD, MP3, etc using a line out into my computer line in. Now I have a Harmon Kardon CD recorder where as it was recording I could mark a track so that as it is played on a CD player you could press the track forward or reverse and go to another segment of the CD but the mix was never broken up. Now there are no blank spots to distinguish where a track mark is made in these recordings. Once recording is done I just want to somehow go through it and at certain points mark a "Track" in the single recording.

Now maybe it is the terminology used in Audacity that is not intuitive to me but, how after I have mixed 15 songs together as a single recording in Audacity can I add the track numbers to the recording? Track as Audacity seems to take it is a completly new recording.

Now once I have recorded I do export to MP3 if that has any bearing on how this might be done.?

Google searches as well as on here have not seemed to help or again I probably am using the wrong terms.? Thanks for your help!!

and this one may help you too: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Burn ... es_to_a_CD
Note carefully the section on "Gapless Burning"

Thanks for your help. I can tell this is just going to be more messing around than before with the CD burner. Granted you do not get song info but to just hit track increment and have it mark that location as song 2, 3, 4, etc is just a lot easier.

I tried the links and did a couple of mixes and the first two "Labels" went OK and then the third just seemed to go under the second one. All subsequent Add Label at Selection did not seem to go at the line shown on the recording. This also does not sound like it will add track increments like a CD but just add song info. Maybe I am wrong.?

Anyhow, thanks for the help!! ;)
