how do i expand the track info so all the info is visible

Just click the bit you gave marked and you will get the drop-down menu

no how do see more of the name of the track. more letters or characters. or how do i expand the info like a text document

You can't expanf the Track Control Panel sideways only up and down.

To see more of the trackname click on it and select "Name ..." from the drop down

Wasn't there a "Feature Request" for a "Tool Tip" that displayed the entire track name when the pointer hovered over it?
Can't seem to find it now.

I seem to remember Edgar writing about it and explaining why it couldn't be fone becasuse of the way the track label had been inmplemented.
