I'm not sure how accurate it is to describe a piece of wire as "high-tech" :?
OK, so it's 2 pieces of wire, two plugs and a socket, but it's still not much more high-tech than a coat hanger.

Hi wax and Steve,

You guys are truly gluttons for punishment... thanks for not being mad about my temporary (or permanent) insanity... I try to make myself laugh at the same time during those periods.

wax... the pirate title is something that most of us have anyway... it's not stealing if I don't think of it that way, right?... did you hear about the new pirate movie?... it's rated AARRRRRR.

I know that it would be a good idea to get the USB sound card, but I figure I'd have to change my audio driver, and I just don't want to risk losing my sound altogether again after the final months with Vista and the whole Realtek driver auto update debacle back a few months ago... I like having sound and I want to keep it that way.

The ironic thing is that I have Macs too, and the deal with PCs is supposed to be that they can do desktop audio recording of streaming content and Macs can't... I guess that is a myth now... maybe I should send this case to Mythbusters.

And I get it, "another brick in the wall"... hit a brick wall... Pink Floyd... pretty good!

And Steve... the Jingle Cats have a whole series of albums out, I was surprised to find, when I searched for Auld Lang Syne songs on iTunes for a New Years video that I was making... I like them too, until you listen to more than 3 songs in a row, then it starts to sound like a cat day care center.

And I was being sarcastic/ironic about the high-tech/low-tech wire solution... see, sarcasm and irony are real big things with me.

Anyway, you've been a great audience and I'll be here all week... my late night show is much better than my afternoon show.

enjoy,

digi
