I started my download with choosing English in the language perference, but when the download was done.
The layout turned into Chinese charcters, is it a way solving this problem and change that back to English??
Thanks a lot for answering.

There is only one version of Audacity and it supports multiple languages.
It should default to the system language of the computer. Do you have a Chinese version of Windows?

To change the language to English:
Select the second menu item (Edit menu)
Select the menu item at the bottom (Preferences)
Select the 5th item in the list on the left (Interface)
Select the middle of the three drop-down menus (Language) and select "English".
Click "OK"
Close and restart Audacity so that the setting is stored.
