Hey,
I am running windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Until recently, Audacity has been running fine. I haven't used it in a while and I fired it up to make ringtone, and I got a rapidly repeating bong kind of a noise. It was not the noise of a error message but more like a buzz. Audacity never showed up though. after 5 seconds, my computer locks up and I have to do a hard reboot. this happens every time.
Please help!

P.S. How do you pronounce Audacity?

FYI, I just downloaded an installed Audacity 1.2, and it worked just fine. I would prefer to run 1.3 though.
