Burning CD

Post by Lawrence Todd » Fri Dec 24, 2010 4:11 pm

I burn CD with Windows Media. I set up my List and then drag the songs into the burn pane to set up the burn process. When i.e. six songs in the pane, I activate the burn process and everything is fine, the burn process completes. However, when playing back the CD, only the first song will play and the rest of the songs have to be manually activated??????

I'd recommend not using Windows Media Player for burning CDs.
Try CDBurnerXP instead (free) http://cdburnerxp.se/en/home
For making a CD that will play on ordinary CD players, ensure that you select "audio CD" as the type of disk that you want to create.

This is not really a forum issue, so I'm moving this to the Windows forum (you didn't specify which version you're using so I'm assuming 1.3.x).
Include as much details as you can in your post (Audacity version, Operating System, Equipment used, etc).
Please post your question in the appropriate forum (regarding audacity version and operating system).
