I'm trying to clean up a bunch of audio tape transfer files using the chains functionality in the audacity beta, but it doesnt seem to be able to handle too many files.
Audacity is creating some enormous temp files for each mp3 its works on, and not deleting them when it moves on. It keeps overfilling my hard drive and crashing. Anyone out there come up with a solution for this?

Re: Temp files filling up HD when using chains
The only solution at the moment is to run smaller batches (or get a bigger hard drive).
Audacity only cleans up when you exit the program, however, this is a known problem, and is something that the developers are looking to improve in later versions.
