Hey all,
I make a podcast that has different sections and i would like to allow people to fastforward to sections they are interested in. I know that garage band can make chapters to FF but i dont have a mac and i dont know how to do it in audacity. I tried creating a track label as a test to see if that would create a chapter marker to FF to, but it didnt work in the exported mp3. Is there something special i need to do to the track label or is there another function that does this? or is it not possible using audacity?
thanks much for any help you can give!

Re: Creating Chapters like Garage band (help!)
It may be possible within a GarageBand project, but as far as I'm aware it is not possible to make "chapter marks" in MP3s.
Depending on what device you are intending to play the files on, you could perhaps split the track into a number of smaller files, then use a playlist to play each of the files in sequence.

If the "chapters" are going onto an audio CD, see here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Split ... ing_to_CDs
