mp3 exporting

Post by chrismtl » Tue Nov 16, 2010 12:46 am

Hi,
I don't know if this has already been posted, but if it has, just link me to the discussion as I didn't find it...

I'm exporting files as .mp3, and every file gets exported differently. Meaning, some files end up as .wmv some even just as .file(which is normally just for text documents...). I don't think that in about 10-15 tries I have had an mp3 export come out as .mp3. I don't really care if it comes out as wmv as I can just use a converter, but it doesn't really work when it comes out as a .file

Thanks,
Chris

Don't use the dot "." character in the file name.
The safe way to name files is to use only letters, numbers, space, underscore and hyphen.

Hi,
Thanks for the help. Its mostly music cropping that I use it for, so most of the time there are ft. or artists with "." in their name. I'll make sure to change the titles from now on.
Thanks,
Chris
