Delayed playback while recording for broadcast

I did a quick search and browse of the forums here, but I didn't see a solution to my situation.
First I will give a brief background. We are using Audacity to record live sound (Sunday church service) from a mixer for later duplication onto CD's. This service is also being simultaneously broadcast on a local AM radio station.
Now, for my problem. In a few weeks the service will be running 45-60 min ahead of its regular schedule. Is there a way/plug-in I can use to start recording the incoming audio and 45 minutes or so later start playback of the same audio without stopping the recording? The radio station will not do a delay for us, they will only transmit the live signal we send them. I have seen hardware that will do this, and even some software (http://www.broadcastdelay.com/) but since this situation might only come up once a year the cost ($1200)is not practical. (We could use the 30 day demo of the previously mentioned software to get around this one time) We currently only have one dedicated audio computer. We have tried to use a laptop in the past to try and record the first 45 minutes, but the recording quality was terrible, probably due to the sound hardware in the laptop.
I guess I could try and come up with (borrow) a better laptop, but if there is some way this could be accomplished with one system it would probably simplify things.
