Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

almost no volume in playback

Post by TonyHath » Sat Nov 06, 2010 11:15 pm

:?: I'm using Windows XP and Audacity 1.3 Beta, a Logitech head mic. Volume is up, no jigs and jags of the blue line, red blocks above indicate I'm recording. Playback I can barely hear my voice. Under help a suggestion is to go to Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices Properties-> Audio and click on volume. I get an error message saying "Windows cannot execute SndVol32.exe, use Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to install." Is my problem here, and if so how do I fix it?

Need BIG help! Thanks so much in advance. Tony
