I'm trying to record for a pod cast. I have made recording before but I got a new headset with mic
a Logitech ClearChat Pro USB

Now when I got to record it says
"Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate."
I'm clueless as to what that means.

When I test the headset and mic and check it's windows settings my computer says it's working fine.

Please help.

Edit menu > Preferences > Devices
check that your USB device is selected as the recording device.

Thanks that helped some but now it's recording in mono, 1 channel and it doesn't give an option for a 2 channel setting.

Is it a stereo microphone?
