Having installed 1.3.12 or 1.3.8, help and manual do not open by clicking in the help menu. HELP file seems to be correctly present in the Audacity program file. Reinstalling or reboot without result.

Looking forward an explanation and fixing issue.

That's odd, I'm on Windows XP-HE and Help > Manual fires up the manula in my webrowser ok.

However you can still access the manual directly from this link (I would suggest bookmarking the link): http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... =Main_Page

BTW don't bother with 1.3.8 - 1.3.12 contains bug fixes for bugs that were in the earlier versions - and 1.3.12 seems very stable in daily use.

The .ZIP version does not contain the help file. This is deliberate and reduces the download file size.
For automatic installation of the help file you need to use the .EXE version.
