This just makes me wanna cry

Ok, so I haven't had any problems recording internet radio before....

I haven't changed ANYTHING on my computer, I just didn't use Audacity for a few weeks due to being homeless and having no electric.... now It has suddenly decided that it doesnt want to work anymore.

I mean I haven't touched a -------- thing and it just stops working. FLATLINE when im recording. The output and input levels dont work anymore.

I am using a Samsung n150, windows 7. i had no problems before

If your computer is connected to the Internet (which I assume it is), check to see if it is possible to "roll back" the drivers for you sound card.

I managed to fix it by uninstalling an online game I had downloaded!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by roll back. I dont know much about drivers, but my comp says that they are all up to date. I bought this laptop new a few months ago, will doing this improve my sound?

im just glad to get it working cos i have found audacity to be the best program for my purpose
