Hi Forum,
I was working on a school project that was working smoothly. It was saved on my desktop. When I moved the project file to my documents, the project gave an error message that it could not find the block files. I moved it back to the desktop, but it gave the same error message. I searched my computer for .au files, and could not find any.
What happened to my project, and how can I recover my project? This is very time sensitive - help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Block Files disappeared
You need to find a folder ending in "_data" with the same name as your project. If that folder is gone, so is your project. If it is still around, it and the ".aup" file need to be in the same folder.

Re: Block Files disappeared
Audacity saves Projects which are multiple production files that make up your show. To get an actual sound file, you need to Export one. File > Export As WAV.
