Two Microphones??
I was wondering if anyone knows how use two microphones or even if it's possible. I have something that plugs in to my guitar and a microphone in the other USB drive, but it only hears one. Help??
Re: Two Microphones??
Audacity can only record from one device at a time.
The computer sound card is one device.
A USB microphone is another device.
You can't record from both (with Audacity) at the same time.
If you run two conventional microphones (not USB) into a mixer (mixing desk/console) and then connect the mixing console to a sound card, then they can both be recorded at the same time because Audacity is only recording from the sound card (one device).
