Audacity Forum

I'm new to Audacity, so I hope this question isn't silly. I seem to have a problem with my Audacity program (1.3 Beta(Unicode)). "Export" doesn't seem to work. When I go to "export" under "File," instead of an Export File Dialogue box popping up, an "edit metadata" dialogue box pops up. Could you anyone tellme why this is happening?
By the way, my operating system is Windows XP (2002) Service Pack 3.

OK the dialog box without typing anything in any of the boxes. You can set this extra dialog not to appear in the Audacity preferences.
