Drop down menu for microphone
On the drop down menu next to microphone I don,t get anything but "master". On the previous Audacity I get a list which consists of, "WAVE OUT MIX, MONO OUT, PHONE, LINE IN, MICROPHONE, & CD PLAYER". I want to record direct from CD but I can't.

Go into "Edit Menu > Preferences > Devices" and try changing the "Host" setting. (make a note of what it is currently set on in case you need to revert back).
