recording entire tape

Post by onehappyneedle » Thu Oct 07, 2010 4:48 am

I have a question. I am putting music from my cassettes one song at a time. Is there a way that I can copy the entire tape and then record it onto cd? Do I have to do one song at a time onto my computer and then put them on cd?
Thanks
I hope you can understand my question.

This tutorial in the Audacity manual will tell you how to copy an entire tape then export a separate file for each song suitable for burning to CD.

Hi,

I have a similar question. I would like to remove certain parts on the tape. How do I do this?

Regards,
Dave

Select the audio you want to remove then use Edit > Delete to take it out. http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... =Edit_Menu
