Colour of Progess bars on import/export/save

Post by waxcylinder » Mon Apr 21, 2008 3:41 pm

I ran Audacity 1.3.3 on two different user accounts on the same PC (Windows XP-HE-SP2) - I note that the progress bars to show progress on import/export/save differ between the two accounts - both are administrator accounts.

On one a/c the bars are blue and the other they are green - and I can find nowhere in Audacity to set/re-set this aspect of the GUI.

Does anybody know how you control this bit of Audacity? Just an idle curiosity question really - as it does not impede my work at all - I just like to understand the tools I use.

Ah.. that's certainly a possibility Steve.

On the user with the blue progress bars - I have the desktop set to Windows Classic (this is my main work a/c - but also where I keep my iTunes library, so I do the occasional Audacity work.

The user a/c with the green progress bars is my main Audio work a/c - it has its desktop set to "Modified Theme" - and for the life of me I can't remember the mods I made when I set it up a couple of years ago.

So I suspect you may have hit on the reason - I can certainly still find no settings in Audacity that would affect this - apart from "themes" which I have no real desire to tamper with and stay well clear of.
