Merging projects

Being new to 1.3beta, I didn't understand how to capture and export the two sides of an LP record within one project (I do now), so I created 1 project per side for a few records. Is there a way merge my my 1-sided projects into 2-sided ones? I know I can copy the sound and label tracks, but what about the _data folders? The e00 folders in the two projects contain identically named dxx folders, so I can't just merge them...
This is no big deal, I can live with the present situation, but for neatness sake I would like to "tidy up" by merging these early projects.
Thanks for any hints
Svante

Audacity Projects are only really a temporary form - they allow you to do all sorts of fancy editing and processing, but only Audacity can play them, they are huge, and are easily broken. When you have finished editing you should be Exporting the music as ordinary audio files. For example, if you wish to make an audio CD, export as 16 bit WAV. If you want to put the music on an iPod, Export as MP3. If you want to keep a safe archive copy, Export as FLAC. If you try moving Audacity Projects around or rename them then they will probably shatter. Export your projects as soon as you finish editing them - the Audacity project file (.AUP) and data folder (filename_data) can then be deleted.

As Steve says, and have a read of this set of tutorials from the 1.3/2.0 manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.ph ... iscs_to_CD
