hi there
using beta 1.3.3
i have ripped my vinyl and saved as audacity projects.
i reduce the noise cracks etc using the built in filters.
the rips now sound a bit too bassy, is there any way i can run them through an equalizer as it exports to mp3?
or can i alter the sound in the project and lower the bass? i hope you understand what i am trying to say here :/
then if i save as a wav @ 16 41000 will i then be able to import this wav and edit it as a project at a later date? or will i have to save the original projects if i want to edit something at a later date?
sorry for n00b questions i could not find any related info
matt
should i have posted this somewhere else? please move if so
what todo after vinyl rip

Re: what todo after vinyl rip
No you can import the WAVs at a later date for further editing and then discard the projects. In fact it's a good idea as WAVs are a single consolidated file which is highly portable - unlike Audacity's projects which are a cloud of little files which are hard to move around without loss/damage - many have tried and failed .....topsparks wrote: then if i save as a wav @ 16 41000 will i then be able to import this wav and edit it as a project at a later date? or will i have to save the original projects if i want to edit something at a later date?
BTW I would also recommend making a backup copy of the WAVs too - you don't really want to lose all that hard work ...
