Hey guys.. first post here. I've looked over about 20 threads, and read all the associated Wiki's, all the FAQs, etc. Believe me, I didn't run here and post.
My setup: Windows 7, Numark Mixtrack (DJ Controller), Audio 2 DJ sound card. (Both the mixtrack and audio 2 dj are USB, speakers and headphones are routed out of the audio 2 DJ sound card)
I'm trying to set up my Numark mixtrack so that I can record mixes while using Native instrument's Traktor.
I've gone through all possible input/output variations, and gone through the control panel>sound>show disabled etc.
I've gotten the "error while opening device. please check the input device settings and project sample rate." message, and whichever combo i try i'm producing no recording.
I'm utterly clueless and was about to give up but decided a post would probably find the answers I'm looking for.
I just want to be able to record! Any help is appreciated guys.
Trevor

Re: Not recognizing
I presume that you want to record the output from Traktor?
I think that Native instruments have deliberately made this difficult to do because they would prefer that you bought the Pro version (which has recording built in).
You may be able to get round their restrictions by recording "Stereo Mix". There is a page about recording Stereo Mix, including some suggested workarounds if your computer does not support Stereo Mix. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... trol_Panel (see the text in the blue box).

Hey, thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately I tried that with no success.
I feel hopeless

Re: Not recognizing
Your other options are to either buy the pro version of Traktor, or record on a separate device such as a cassette recorder or a second computer.
