seperating opera and human speech

Post by projectmaker10 » Tue Sep 07, 2010 12:24 am

I’m trying to separate the mixed in sounds, the opera and the non-music human speech. The opera is powerful and I think it might useful. Anyone know a way to rip it off a mp3 file?

What you are wanting to do is similar to trying to take the sugar out of a cup of coffee after it has been mixed in.
There are some programs that claim to be able to do this kind of thing, but to work they rely on the sounds being dissimilar - which these sounds aren't. If you want to have a go, there is a free demo version of one such plug-in http://www.elevayta.net/product13.htm
