Is there a way to, all at once, join the split delete white spaces between "good takes"?
I know there's the time shift tool but to my knowledge that only joins one at a time...is there something to do this all at once?
Thanks - let me know

If I understand you correctly it begs the question, why did you use Split Delete rather than just Delete?
You can "shrink" the spaces using "Truncate Silence" in the Effect menu.
To delete only the "white space" between your "takes", set the "threshold" to minimum (-80dB).
If you describe what "the job" is, there may be a better way to approach the task.

Hey Mr. Fiddle...
Thanks for helpin out again...
I chose split delete b/c I needed the labels to stay on point/in alignment with the audio...if I just deleted - the label's would be off track/out of sync with the audio...

If you select both the audio track that you want to edit, and the label track, then you can delete and the labels will move along with the audio.
If the label track is immediately below the track that you are editing, then to select the label track as well as the audio track:
- Select the region that you want to delete on the audio track.
- Press the Down cursor key
- Press Enter
- Delete.
Alternatively:
- Select the region that you want to delete on the audio track.
- Hold down the Shift key and press the Down cursor key
- Delete.
In the next release of Audacity this will be made easier as it will be possible to link the label track and the audio track together, so when you cut or delete from one it will automatically do the same to the other.

Provided that is you are using the latest Beta 1.3.12.
The early Betas were ok but developers introduced a temporary bug in some of the later versions of 1.3 - but it is definitely fixed in 1.3.12 - I use this feature all the time.
