Mix And Render Question

Post by Justafingerpicker » Wed Aug 25, 2010 10:26 pm

I was attempting to mix and render a "fixed" right channel of a stereo recording and upon completion revert the project back to stereo track. The mix and render step seemed to work just fine -- but when I attempted to re-open the wave project, the re-mixed-and-re-rendered Right track was now far out of balance with the untouched left. If the original Left track appeared to be at roughly -1.5 dB, the re-rendered Right was now at 0 dB or even louder. What might have caused this...and more importantly, how can I prevent it from happening in the future?

You may have accidentally nudged the volume slider in the box on the left end of the track.
The volume and pan slider settings are "applied" (rendered) when you use the Mix and Render function.
