No 'Export as MP3' button in Audacity 1.3.12-beta (Unicode)

Many thanks. I saw the Lame file in the window but it still said it couldn't fnd it. I tried your other suggestion but still no go.
I've downloaded another programme from the Net (NHC) and it's brillaint. Records from my turntable... converts immediately to MP3 and Wave files and so easy to use. No trouble at all so I'm scrapping Audacity. But thanks for trying.
I can recommend NHC to anyone having trouble with Audacity. They have three progs. which all download together.One is called 'Switch' but even that won't convert from Audacity but their other prog (Record Pad?) is the one to use.

I had the same problem but I just unchecked "Show Metadata Editor prior to export step"
in the Import/Export settings in Preferences.
