trouble eliminating high pitched note . . .

I tried about 12 different effects in audacity to cancel out a high pitched note in my spliced together .wav file but nothing seems to work.

I got the drum beat just about right on in the splice . . .

Can anybody give me a clue ?

I don't hear anything but the music. Maybe you can't filter it out because it isn't in the song.

Pull down Organ Finale and Piano2 and play those. Still have the whistle?

Well, actually it is part of the music.

I have posted another file that shows the exact location of the noxious tone on the audacity waveform at 3.5 to 4.2 area:

File is something like: Werewolves_marked_off

Load up the .wav file in audacity and tell me what you think . . .
