Export to Wav and MP3 Sound Sucks

The problem I'm having is when I export MP3 and Wav to burn. Windows Media Player playback sucks. Its totally unaudible. I get the same type of problem when I export in fruity loops. I'm running a omega lexicon usb interface and presonus pre amp

For best compatibility, export as "16 bit 44.1 kHz Microsoft PCM WAV". This should play correctly in all media players, even WMP.
