Audacity Forum

i have been happily using audacity for a couple of days, i just finished mixing a few tracks when i tried opening another audacity and it seems to have crashed or something, but now (even after restart & shutdown) it comes up in task manager and toolbar but will not show up on screen, i have tried opening audacity files, that doesn't work either
im on vista 32bit home basic (if that helps)
just before, i exported a 3 min file into vbr mp3 has this got anything to do with it?

Try deleting the Audacity temporary folder and the Audacity Configuration file. This should reset Audacity.

The default location for the temporary files folder is in; Documents and Settings<user name>Local SettingsTemp
