Help Recording Stereo Track
Hi, I've been trying to record a stereo track with Audacity 1.3.12 Beta, using a Peavey PV6 USB mixer. Using windows xp, there's an option in the drop down box for recording 2 channels, (stereo), but on my drummer's laptop, there is no stereo option available. I'm not sure if this is a problem with his computer or Audacity itself. Thanks.

Re: Help Recording Stereo Track
To begin with, assuming the drummer's laptop is on Windows Vista or 7, check these instructions to make sure the default format of the mixer is set to stereo in "Sound" in the Windows Control Panel.m3talgu1tar1st wrote:Hi, I've been trying to record a stereo track with Audacity 1.3.12 Beta, using a Peavey PV6 USB mixer. Thanks. I'll have to give this a try next time I'm over at his house.
