Greetings
I am using 1.3.12 and I am trying to export individual tracks as mono WAV files, either 24 bit or 32 bit. The top track exports correctly. The tracks after that, even though they are mono tracks, all export as stereo tracks. I have done this a lot in the past with other versions and never once had this problem. (I am using the Export Selection, not the export).
I downloaded the latest 1.3.13 build, put that in a different directory and it does the same thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Tony

Just a note. What are your Audacity preferences set to: 44100, 16-bit, Stereo?

Under the Quality Setting of the Preferences it is 44100, 32 bit. There is no option for Stereo that I can see. Nothing on the Import Export screen either. I record using Audacity on one PC and do my track editing etc on another. I then export the individual tracks in mono for mixing in Cubase SE3. I have done 2 CD's like this and never had this problem before.kozikowski wrote:Just a note. What are your Audacity preferences set to: 44100, 16-bit, Stereo?

I did find a work around, if I Import the track that went out as a stereo track, split it into separate tracks, delete the ghost track (which is a lower volume copy), change the track to Mono, then change the export rate from what ever it was (24 to 32 or vice versa) then it exports correctly. I think. I have to leave in a few and didn't get a change to do much more than that with this project.
Go figure.

Re: WAV Export Bug?
Problem solved....operator gear slippage. I had the view set to Fit Vertically and I couldn't see the Pan control, well I moved the file over to the system that I record on which has a different resolution monitor and THEN I saw that somehow the Pan controls on two of the tracks had gotten bumped. How, I ain't gotta clue, but it works just fine.
