I attempted to download LAME from http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/lame_enc.dll. Is this link no longer active? The page does not load.

When I first tried clicking that link (from this forum topic) it did fail, but it's working now. Please try again. Any referral from an audacityteam.org site should work (so including the Wiki and the Manual Wiki as well as the Forum). Note that your browser or firewall must be set up to permit sending of HTTP referrers. If on the Buanzo site itself, you must also left-click links, not right-click.

If you still have difficulties you can get lame_enc.dll from http://www.gaclrecords.org.uk/audacity.html .
