Post by Newhere » Sat Aug 07, 2010 5:43 am

ok..this is probably very simple to solve..so thats why im here... :D

when i cut and paste an audio file..its added like it should be. BUT when i try to play it back..it plays at a super fast speed and thats NOT what it should do.

Use the play button that is grouped with the other buttons. The play button that sits by itself, is a variable speed one that has: - + re-stat switch that controls the speed.

If it just plays fast, then I'm guessing that you've imported a clip which is recorded at a different project rate to the rest of your project.

Or if it plays super super fast, then I'm guessing that you are importing a soundfile of a type that is not recognized and supported by Audacity.
