Hi,

I am copying my vinyl and tape audio to MP3 format on my PC. To speed up the process I tried to use 'FIND SILENCE' and 'EXPORT MULTIPLE' commands. Neither appear on the FILE or EFFECT menus.

The find silence module appears in the PLUGIN folder.

How do I invoke these features or is my install corrupt?

Have you accidentally checked "CleanSpeech Mode" in the Interface Preferences?

This would remove Export Multiple from the File Menu and all of the Analyze menu, which is where Silence Finder appears. This would still hold true even if you had SilenceMarker.ny in the Audacity Plug-Ins folder.

If that does not solve the problem, perhaps you did not obtain Audacity from us. You can obtain an unmodified copy here:
