Help with how to 'repair' a song which has been cut

Okey, I've been browsing this forum and the manual site to help me with the problem I've got without any success. I got 4 small files which I want to put together (they are part of the same file from the beginingbut but have been cut into 4). Now I wonder what I should do to put it into one file again so that the sound sounds good and connected. I've been trying with the cuting tool to connect it but it's annoyingly hard. Surely there must be some easier and better way to do this?
Thanks in advance!

It depends on how gracefully they were cut up in the first place, and whether or not they were MP3 files or other compressed format. Compression can make beginnings and endings of files not match even if they started out OK.

Open the first one and Import all the others. That should give you four songs one above the other. You can grab and resize each track for tallness.

Then use the time shift tool (Left and right arrows) to push each one around for best match. They will all play at once unless you Solo or Mute one or more of them with the buttons on the left. If you do it right, the song will automatically switch tracks as it plays from left to right and thus reconstruct the show.

Then, either Save Project, or Export As WAV -- or both. Then you can make a new MP3 if you want, but it may not sound as good as any of the original clips. MP3 damage adds up and you shouldn't have more than one.
