1.3.4 mute/solo new behavior issue

New in Audacity 1.3.4 - New features states:
"Solo button solos only one track at a time, and a track cannot be both mute and solo."
however, this actually is disabling a great feature I often use in audacity.
I like to compare two different versions of the same track, in 1.2.x and even 1.3.2 this
still works fine, what i do is: hit mute & solo on one track, then to toggle between the tracks
back and forth all i have to do is leave the mouse cursor over the solo button of the one track
and click it and it will toggle between the two
with this new 1.3.4 feature this is no longer possible i have to move the mouse around to the
different tracks and solo them individually to do this toggling, making these aural a/b comparisions
much harder.
p.s. the new "repair" function rocks!!! used it to get rid of some clicks the other day instead of what
i used to do which was delete them
