After hours of work, I finally was able to export my file as an MP4 to put it into iTunes. But now when I try to play the track in my iTunes library, there is silence. I want to eventually have it on my iPod and be able to put it on a CD. HELP!!!!!!!!

The question is why you created an MP4 in the beginning. iTunes will happily import a WAV or an AIFF file and create a lovely Apple AAC file for all your Apple products.
If you saved your Audacity Project, then you can re-Export the work as a WAV and use that. Change iTunes CD Import Preferences to AAC or iTunes Plus (better quality). Once the show appears in iTunes, select it and Advanced > Create AAC version.
We try to talk people out of creating compressed music as a step in the middle of a production. Compression always creates damage -- especially when you compress and decompress twice as you're doing.

I had saved the file like you said in so many different ways, the WAV and everything. iTunes wouldn't even recognize it when I selected it to import into the library. That was the only type that would show something in my library and then it had no music once I selected it.
